Chris’ areas of practice are a unique blend of both criminal and civil litigation. After spending the first half of his career as a deputy district attorney at the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office, Chris made the transition into the civil arena where his practice focused primarily on defending employers against various wage and hour and discrimination claims. In addition, Chris has handled numerous real estate and property matters, licensing hearings, and administrative proceedings.

Chris graduated from California Lutheran University in 1996, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. After finishing college, Chris worked for a Los Angeles-based sports magazine and website, as well as for FOX 11 News, where he wrote and produced sports programming. In 2002, Chris enrolled at Whitter Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2005. While attending Whittier, Chris interned at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office with an emphasis on cases involving DNA. Following graduation Chris interned at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office with an emphasis on high-profile cases. Chris is admitted to practice in both state and federal court.

Prior to joining our team, Chris prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases at the Ventura District Attorney’s Office, amassing more than thirty jury trials. Chris also worked at an employment defense firm in Camarillo and ran a solo practice in Ventura County.
